Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains what Click Edition collects and why. The short version: we collect what we need to run the product and nothing else.
What we collect from creators
- Your name and email address, so you can sign in and we can reach you.
- A hashed version of your password. We never store the password itself.
- The publications, editions and files you create.
What we collect from readers
- An email address, only if a reader subscribes to a publication. It belongs to that publication.
- Anonymous view counts per edition. We do not build reader profiles or track people across sites.
- For polls and reactions, a one-way hash derived from the request so a single person cannot vote repeatedly. It is not reversible into an identity.
Cookies
One cookie, used to keep creators signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Subscribers receive editions from the publication they signed up to. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that works without an account.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service, such as our email delivery provider.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time from your profile settings. Deleting your account removes your publications, editions and subscriber lists.
